MIKE DOOLIN & NANCY CONESCU

NANCY CONESCU is best known for her elegant singing voice, although she is an accomplished guitarist as well. She has sung and played with the top names in Irish music, including Gerry Harrington, Charlie Piggott, Martin Hayes, Paddy Tunney, Brian Conway, James Kelly, Kevin Glackin, Conal O'Grada and numerous others. She tours in Ireland and Japan frequently, and has played the main stage at folk festivals in Alaska, New York and Australia. Her recording credits include her own "Long Distance", her duo album with Gerry Harrington "The Fiddle, The Voice", and the debut album of the band Aontas.

MIKE DOOLIN is a guitarist of some 30 years professional experience. He has performed with such Northwest mainstays as Mel Brown, Mitzi Zilka, Armonica, LaRhonda Steel, Nancy Conescu, Margo Tufo, Robert Rude, Cruise Control, Body and Soul, The Flying Stickleys, and Soul Vaccination.
His recording credits include Obo Addy's "Wonchi Bi", Timothy Bryson's "Playground" and The Flying Stickley's "Behind the Hangar". Mike is also an internationally respected guitar maker, having built instruments for recording artists Muriel Anderson, John Stowell, Justin King and Nancy Conescu.
