TEMPLE LEFFINGWELL has been attending New Thought churches for 10 years, a majority of that time at Portland Center for Spiritual Living. She says “I love the concept of creating your life from within. Being of a rebellious nature, that concept isn't always the smoothest path, but it’s definitely never boring.”
 
Temple has a very full life with a challenging management position in the clothing industry and ongoing classes at the Center where she is constantly expanding her understanding of spiritual principles. She is also involved in a young adults group contributing ideas for ways that the Center can support the interests of young people, and has been singing with the Friends Gospel Chorus for over two years now – “It is a blast!”  

Temple has been featured in the Music Ministry’s “Summer of Community” where chorus members contribute their songwriting and singing skills to the church services. “I am excited about the opportunity to share my heart and sing front and center this time. I always try to stretch myself and to have the courage to take risks. It reminds me that I am fragile and strong at the same time.”
